  1. I’m a member of the Jury for the University of Queensland’s “Communication and Social Change Award”. This year, the Jury gave the prize in the institutional category to Radio Free Sarawak. We had the two key people from RFS in London come to speak at the Awards ceremony and they were truly inspirational. Yes, they are moving away from shortwave and into more Internet-based operations. Come what may, their reach into the indigenous communities of Borneo is quite extraordinary and valuable.
